Event Rules and Regulations:

General Race Conduct:

  1. Clean Racing: All participants are expected to race cleanly and fairly. Any intentional or reckless driving that causes collisions or disrupts another driver’s race will be penalized.
  2. Respect for Other Competitors: Drivers must respect other racers at all times. Aggressive or unsportsmanlike behavior, including dive-bombing or blocking, will not be tolerated.

Race Format:

  • Practice (P): 20 minutes. Use this session to adjust your setup and familiarize yourself with track conditions.
  • Qualifying (Q): 20 minutes. The fastest lap time will determine the starting grid for the race.
  • Race (R): 60 minutes. Every participant must complete one mandatory pit stop for fuel and tire change during the race.
Pit Stops:
  1. Mandatory Pit Stop: All drivers must complete one mandatory pit stop during the 60-minute race. Failure to complete this will result in disqualification.
  1. Fuel: All cars must stop for fuel during the pit stop. Race fuel will be automatically calculated.
  1. Tires: Drivers must change tires during their pit stop. Dry compound tires must be used at some point during the race.
  1. Pit Lane Speed Limit: Drivers must respect the pit lane speed limit. Exceeding the speed limit will result in a penalty.
Tires:
  • Tire Requirements: Dry compound tires must be used during the race. You must use both tire compounds during your pit stop.
  • Tire Management: Drivers are responsible for managing tire wear throughout the race. Significant tire wear can affect performance, so plan your pit strategy accordingly.
Qualifying:
  • Grid Order: The starting grid will be set by the fastest qualifying lap times. The fastest time starts in pole position, followed by the others in descending order.
  • No Interruptions: Drivers should avoid causing accidents or blocking other drivers during qualifying laps. Any infractions will lead to penalties or grid penalties.
Race Conduct:
  1. Race Starts: The race will start with a rolling start. Drivers must maintain their position until the green flag is waved to signal the start of the race.
  1. Overtaking: Overtaking is allowed in any position unless a "Yellow Flag" or "Blue Flag" condition is present. Drivers must yield to faster cars when the blue flag is shown.
  1. Corner Cutting: Cutting corners or using shortcuts is strictly prohibited. Any incident of corner cutting or track limits violations will be penalized with time penalties or drive-through penalties.
  1. Yellow Flag: When a yellow flag is displayed, drivers must reduce their speed and cannot overtake other competitors. Overtaking under a yellow flag will result in a penalty.
  1. Blue Flag: If a driver is being lapped, they must allow the faster driver to pass safely when the blue flag is shown.
Penalties:
  1. Speeding in Pit Lane: Penalties for exceeding the speed limit in the pit lane will be assessed, including time penalties or drive-through penalties.
  1. Contact with Other Drivers: Any incidents involving contact that causes damage to other cars or disrupts the race will be reviewed by race officials. Depending on the severity, penalties can range from time penalties to disqualification.
  1. Unsporting Behavior: Aggressive driving, intentional collisions, and blocking will lead to penalties. Repeated offenses may result in disqualification from the event.
Race Officials:
  • Race Steward: The Race Steward will oversee all incidents, ensure the rules are followed, and issue penalties as needed.
  • Protests: Drivers may file a protest regarding race incidents within 30 minutes of the race’s conclusion. Protests will be reviewed by the stewards.
Weather Conditions:
  • Clear and Sunny: The race will be held in clear, sunny conditions with no rain expected. Track temperatures will be high, which may affect tire wear.
Disqualification:

Any driver found violating the above regulations may be disqualified from the event, at the discretion of the race stewards. Repeated offenses may lead to exclusion from future events.
