PREMISE
EoS E-Sport tries to make the most of the Assetto Corsa Competizione simulator, with each race trying to simulate real races, from time multiplier to variable weather.
All Championship participants must read and accept every part of these rules.
All communications or changes will be on the dedicated Discord channel.
SERVER AND WEATHER
Three servers will be opened for each event
"EoS E-Sport (CIRCUIT) - Practice - Solo"
"EoS E-Sport (CIRCUIT) - Practice - Team"
"EoS E-Sport (CIRCUIT) - Race."
The password is the same for the three servers:
https://www.thesimgrid.com/championships/11097/racesThe weather will be dynamic and will follow the actual weather forecast, which means that the server will be
set up with information gathered from a specialized site. The game will handle the variations though.
Dynamic weather will be set up on all of the above servers, using the actual forecasts week by week. Such settings will be updated until the week of the race, and about 7 days before the race the "final" weather will be set. Any changes will be communicated in the appropriate channel.
RACE FORMATIn all stages it is mandatory to make at least one driver change, otherwise a penalty of disqualification from the race will be given.
Full formation lap.
In the case of blue flag, it should be left the way as soon as possible. Obstructing overtake manoeuvres are not accepted. Whoever is lapping should keep in mind that these are endurance and not sprint races, which means that the lapped driver may still be fighting with you, nor does it mean that the lapped should obstruct the overtaking. The lapped should leave the way without clipping the racing line of the incoming driver nor lengthening the braking, although it is not necessary to leave your own racing line. The faster driver must carry out the overtaking manoeuvre in safety, moving from the ideal line and finalizing the attack.
The lapped driver cannot hold up a faster driver behind for more than one lap, at which point he has to leave the way and let pass safely.
In the event of a yellow flag, the overtaking car should pay close attention and possibly lift off to get through the incident area without creating any further danger. The car(s) involved in the accident should try to stop the car as quickly as possible holding the brakes and then safely resume the race, paying special attention when rejoining the racing line. This means looking at the radar and the map to see if there is any incoming car. Also, avoid rejoining the track taking a line perpendicular to the racing line. ACCESS AND PILOT CHANGE MANAGEMENT
As a general rule, it is recommended to have pilot one (first pilot in the entrylist) enter the server first, although we have never had problems with pilot 2 entering the server first. However, in the event of a game or pc crash, drivers should rejoin the server in the same order as the one followed the first time.
If this procedure is not carried out correctly, the server will assign the drivers of the same team to two different cars. In this case the organization will not be able to do anything. That is why we ask everyone, both experienced and inexperienced, to stricly follow the instructions.
Once the "main" driver has entered the server he will upload the setup (if he wants to) and click drive out of the pits, only after a few seconds (ideal is to see his own name in the standings) can the other team members enter.
The other members of the team should, before clicking drive, check that they are positioned on their own car; if they are not, they risk the problem described above.
If after the driver change one notices that the rear-view mirror is missing, it will be sufficient to do a full view cycle and then return to one's view and get the mirror back (by hitting F1 button multiple times).
If after the driver change you are catapulted to another car, just press shift and right or left arrow to scroll through the cars up to your own.
SKIN
Custom liveries can be used for this championship; they must be posted on the dedicated Discord channel at least 48 hours before the race so they can be delivered to the director for the LIVE streaming.
All skins must have in a visible place the logos that you will find in the #skin-upload channel.
PENALTYAssignable penalty scale -> 5s, 15s, 30s, DT, SG10, SG30, DSQ.
The following rules will be used:
You will have three Warnings per race available, after which you will have a -15 second penalty for each Warning.
If a driver takes three penalties, he will be given an additional DT. At the second DT, there will be a SG30 and, in case of further penalty, a DSQ.
Misuse of game chat and Discord -> disqualification from the race or championship.
In case of an accident we ask to give the position back to the offended driver. This spirit of sportmanship is rewarded with a reduced penalty as opposed to a harsh penalty in case of not giving back the position. The return of the position must happen on the lap where the accident happened, so as not to create hindrance to other drivers, but it must be given back clearly, possibly even with lights signaling).
In the protest form, it will be mandatory to send video of the replay or, preferably, video with the following views:
interior view from the claiming car, top view of the claiming car (above the cars using the f7 key and moving with mouse and keypad). If any of the required data is missing, the complaint will be closed and the reason indicated.
FCY System, please read carefully!!! (this is mandatory fo everyone in the race).
