5FIR Winter Racing Series: M2 and GT4 Winter Showdown
1. Classes:
- BMW M2 CS Racing Cup: Fixed setup as per the sim racing platform's regulations.
- GT4: Any car from the GT4 class within the sim racing platform, with LFM Balance of Performance (BoP) applied.
2. Race Format:
- Six rounds at various tracks known for winter conditions or adaptable to "icy" environments.
- Race Length: 60 minutes.
- Rolling starts.
- Full Formation Lap
- 1 Mandatory Pit stop (25 second Fixed fueling time)
3. Qualifying:
- 20-minute qualifying session.
- First 10 minutes: Exclusive to BMW M2 CS Racing Cup cars.
- Last 10 minutes: Exclusive to GT4 cars.
- Grid: M2 and GT4 cars will be arranged on the grid based on their qualifying times.
4. Race Rules:
- Clean racing is paramount. Intentional wrecking, blocking, or other unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
- Overtaking: While close racing is encouraged, drivers must leave racing room and avoid contact.
- Track Limits: Consistent abuse of track limits will result in penalties.
- Incidents: All incidents will be reviewed post-race by stewards.
5. Stewarding:
- A panel of stewards will review incidents reported after the race.
- Penalties may include time penalties, drive-through penalties, or disqualification, depending on the severity of the offense.
- Stewards' decisions are final.
6. Points System:
- Points will be awarded on a progressive scale in each class.
- Separate championships for M2 and GT4 classes.
7. Communication:
- A dedicated Discord server or similar platform will be used for official announcements, driver communication, and stewarding inquiries.
8. Additional Notes:
- Car liveries: Drivers are encouraged to use creative and unique liveries that enhance the visual appeal of the series.

- Balance of Power (BoP): Provided by LFM and will be applied to every race.
