The SRO Esports Community World Challenge is an exciting SimRacing competition, bringing together 20 of the worldβs top sim racing communities for an epic showdown. Hosted on SimGrid, this event is a true test of skill and precision, where each community is being represented by two drivers in this special event.
A high-stakes race on the iconic Bathurst - Mount Panorama circuit, known for its challenging turns and intense elevation changes. With top-tier drivers and fierce competition, the stage is set for an unforgettable race, showcasing the best of sim racing talent from some of SimGrid's best communities.
The winning community of the competition will receive an invite to attend the SRO Motorsport awards ceremony held in London where they will be presented with an official trophy on stage.
All slots on this grid are filled by drivers who qualified through eligible qualification championships held by 20 of SimGrid's best communities.
Each community will be represented on the grid by two drivers.

The schedule below is for the race on Saturday 2nd November.
The SRO Esports Community World Challenges wants to provide an exciting show for all participants and viewers to enjoy. To do this, we want to make qualifying a lot more exciting than it is in your standard events.
The Qualifying will be divided into three separate sessions. In each session, the slowest drivers will be eliminated, while the faster ones advance to the next round.
*The leaderboard is reset for each qualifying session so that previous session lap times don't carry over.
The SRO Esports Community World Challenge will have both live and post race stewarding.
Stewards will investigate collisions that are brought to their attention through the game logs, however after the race, drivers can also use the protest forms made available in the discord channel to report rule violations and bring them to the attention of the stewards.
The SRO Esports Community World Challenge race will have 3 mandatory pitstops. There are no mandatory tyre changes or refuelling required.
The Race will use a custom Balance of Performance adjustment, and it looks the following:
Custom liveries are required in the SRO Esports Community World Challenge.
Each livery needs to directly constitute the Community the driver is directly representing. Both drivers of each Community must have an overall matching livery appearance, even if the car choice may differ.
All custom liveries must follow the requirements detailed in the Terms & Conditions.
The required logos can be found in the Custom Livery Assets folder. The folder will also be accessible on Discord.
Any politically charged or potentially offensive material on a custom livery will result in the livery being rejected.
