SLIPSTREAM INTERNATIONAL - WORLD SERIES '25
Overview:
🏆Championship structure:
The championship runs for 12 rounds spread across 3 months with a mix of normal races (60 minutes), sprint races (2x30 minutes) and endurance races (90 minutes).
The final race of the season (Round 12) is the Title Race. The track will be randomly drawn out of the tracks we don't run after round 11.
Because of the length of the championship and our approach to it, we allow 3 dropout rounds. That means that if you run all races, your 3 worst ones won't be counted.
🏁Race format:
Each race event features:
- 30-minute official practice
- 5-minute Drivers Briefing in Discord
- 20-minute open qualifying
- Followed by the race
The race will consist of one of three formats:
- Normal Race: One 60 minute race (normal points system)
- In a normal race, there will be one mandatory pitstop for tyres with refuelling allowed.
- Sprint Races: Two 30 minute races (half points for each race)
- In sprint races, there will be no mandatory pitstop, however tyre changes and refuelling are allowed.
- Endurance Race: One 90 minute race (double points)
- In an endurance race, there will be one mandatory pitstop with an open strategy.
