This season we are going to run the Porsche Cup and M2 in a multiclass format. Sign up for whichever car class you prefer. We are taking a more relaxed approach to this season, so there will not be any splits within each class. This is the last season of 2024, and given the holidays, it will be a little shorter than usual.
This season consists of 9 weekly races, with one week off on Dec 1st. There will be two dropped rounds. These can be races you miss/sign out of, or your lowest points races if you attend every event.
The race server will go online at 4p PT / 7p ET on Sunday and consist of the following sessions, unless otherwise specified:
Qualifying
The 21 minute qualifying session will be split into two parts:
Race
Races will be 60 minutes with one mandatory pit stop unless otherwise specified. There is no pit window, however your pit stop is a minimum of 25s with mandatory refueling. Tire change is not mandatory, but if you choose to do so, it will add 5 extra seconds to your pit stop.
Missing Races
While we would love to have a full grid every race we do understand life happens and you might need to miss a race or two. If you do need to miss a race, please sign out so we can keep track or have someone in the waitlist join. Please note: If you miss the first two races of the season without signing out you will be dropped from the series.
At NWSR, we emphasize clean racing and good race craft, because we understand the frustration of being crashed out on lap 1 of the only race you can participate in that week.
All incidents are recorded automatically and reviewed after the race by our stewards. Lap 1 incidents are given double penalties and all penalty points accumulated over a season are tracked.
You can find our rule book here.
