It is mandatory for every Driver to join the official Discord server and change their server nickname to their real first name and last name.

PRO CLASS QUALIFYING COMPETITION

REGISTRATION

Before registering, each driver must first have completed their user profile to include their first name and surname, their nationality and Steam ID.

To register, click the Register button and you will be taken to the screen to select your car and car number.

Drivers will initially have to go through a hotlap pre-qualifying which will run from 13th March to 23rd March. The top 24 drivers from the hotlap pre-qualifying will then advance to the GT World Challenge Esports Europe Sprint Series which will begin on April 6th.

Registration to the qualifying is free, however drivers that successfully qualify to enter Pro class in the championship will be required to pay an entry fee of €250.

ONLY Drivers that scored 25 or more points in the 2021 GT World Challenge Esports will be allowed to compete within the Pro class for the 2022 GT World Challenge Esports Europe Sprint Series.

QUALIFICATION DATES

The hotlap qualifying will begin on Sunday 13th March at 12:00 CET.

The hotlap qualifying will end on Wednesday 23rd March at 23:59 CET.

QUALIFICATION PROCESS

Qualifying for the Pro class of the GTWC Esports Europe Sprint Series will be held as a hot-lap qualifying. Each Driver will be required to set hot-laps on a qualifying server at 2 different circuits, both of which are circuits on the calendar for the season: Hungaroring and Nurburgring.

Drivers must set their hotlaps in the car that they are registered to. Laps set in any other car than their registered car will be invalid for the qualifying. The same car must be used at both tracks, it is not possible to use a different car at each.

At each track, the drivers 10 best lap times are used to create an average lap time. The average lap time from each track will then be added together to create a total lap time and drivers will be sorted in the standings based on this total lap time.

Example:

1:42.500 (Avg. lap time @ Hungaroring) + 1:52.888 (Avg. lap time @ Nurburgring) = Total Lap Time of 3:35.388

WHO QUALIFIES?

The top 24 drivers in the standings will be eligible to qualify for the Pro class of the GTWC Esports Europe Sprint Series. However, there is a requirement that there is at least TWO of each manufacturer in the Pro class. In the event that two of each manufacturer are not in the top 24, then the fastest driver(s) in the missing manufacturer(s) will be eligible to qualify in place of the drivers in the top 24.

Example:

Drivers using McLaren qualify in P1, P2, P23 and P24. The highest Audi drivers are in P25 and P26. The Audi drivers will enter the Pro class instead of the McLaren drivers in P23 and P24.

*Event Organizers have the right to change the maximum or minimum number of allowed Drivers within the competition at any moment and are allowed to add additional Drivers to the series even if the maximum number of Drivers has already been reached.
