Rules and Procedures
Welcome to PosPer GT3 Season 13! This 6-round series uses any of the GT3 cars from Assetto Corsa Competizione. Custom liveries are encouraged! Round details will be posted before each event.
Drivers of all skill levels are welcome. Whether you're a first-timer or an experienced racer, there’s always a competitor to challenge. We have three categories—Pro, Silver, and Am—based on previous season results. New drivers, please contact an admin for classification.
Round 1: 07/11/24 - Valencia (60 min, no mandatory stop)
Round 2: 21/11/24 - Paul Ricard (60 min, mandatory tyre & fuel stop)
Round 3: 05/12/24 - Hungaroring (60 min, mandatory tyre stop)
Round 4: 19/12/24 - Watkins Glen (60 min, mandatory fuel stop)
Round 5: 02/01/25 - Misano (60 min, mandatory tyre stop)
Round 6: 16/01/25 - Kyalami (90 min, 2x mandatory tyre or fuel stops)
Note: For tyre-only stops, fuel is locked. For mandatory fuel stops, tyres are optional (minimum 1L of fuel required).
Only GT3 cars from Assetto Corsa Competizione are allowed.
Car changes result in a 50-point deduction and are limited to one change per season. Requests must be submitted at least 1 hour before the event.
Drivers unable to attend must sign out on SimGrid at least 1 hour before the event. Failure to sign out will lead to automatic removal, and spots will be offered to reserve drivers.
Each driver can sign out for a maximum of 2 events per season.
Reserve drivers may be added to the entry list 30 minutes before FP1 starts.
Drivers are divided into Pro, Silver, and Am categories based on previous season results. New drivers should contact an admin for placement.
If you gain a position through contact, you must give the position back ("redress"). Failure to do so will result in penalties.
Avoid contact—while close racing is encouraged, deliberate collisions will not be tolerated.
Treat others with respect. Don’t expect others to move aside just because you’re faster. The goal is to have fun!
Take extra care on Lap 1, especially in tight corners with large grids.
The season will use Pitskill.io for Balance of Performance (BOP) across all drivers and cars. A full BOP file will be available before Round 1.
Stewards aim for fair and unbiased decisions on all protests. Stewarding is conducted by a 3-member admin team, and decisions should be respected.
Protests must be filed within 24 hours after the event using the protest form in Discord (#protest-form-all-events). Ensure all details are accurate or the protest may not be reviewed.
The following penalties may be issued by the stewards:
Warning
Race Licence Penalty Points
Race Position Penalty
Championship Points Deduction
Race Disqualification
Ballast Penalty (if applicable)
Race Ban or Championship Ban
Permanent Ban from Positive Perception
Penalties:
2 Licence Points per incident
1 Licence Point + classified behind involved driver if position is not returned
6 Penalty Points max (carried over between seasons)
2 points deducted for every 2 consecutive incident-free races Note: Clean races in fun events contribute to “clean race” stats but don’t prevent race bans.
Slower cars should maintain their racing line when being lapped. Faster cars must ensure safe overtakes. Any contact during lapping will be reviewed by stewards if reported.
Blue flags must be respected. Allow faster cars to pass within one lap, ensuring predictable and safe movements.
Qualifying:
Always leave enough room for safe laps. If a car behind is on a hot lap and you are not, pull off the racing line to avoid ruining their lap.
No overtaking on the first out lap—give space and find your gap.
Deliberately failing to set a time (e.g., for a last-to-first challenge) will result in a drive-through or Stop-and-Go penalty.
Qualifying has been extended to 25 minutes.
Drivers who are both on hot laps; the car behind should yield and back off and not overtake.
Pits: Open for repairs at all times. Mandatory pit stops for fuel or tyres will vary by round.
Pit Entry & Exit: Obey pit entry/exit lines and speed limits.
Text Chat: No in-game text chat during sessions until all cars have finished. Violations may result in penalties.
Weather: Settings will be released ahead of time, and the practice server will use the same values.
Penalties: The game will handle all penalties for start procedures, track limits, and pit speed violations.
The practice server mirrors race conditions, including weather and track settings.
The entry list is locked; only registered drivers may enter.
The server will be locked after qualifying ends, and no additional entries will be allowed once the race grid is set.
We partner with Awesome Sim Racing (ASR) for custom livery uploads and distribution. Upload your liveries to the ASR site under the appropriate PosPer collection. Explicit content in liveries is not allowed, as they will be visible during live broadcasts.
Points are awarded as follows:
1st: 30 points
2nd: 26 points
3rd: 24 points
…
25th: 1 point
Best 5 of 6 rounds count toward the championship, and ties will be broken by best round score, followed by qualifying average. Points are awarded for overall results and within Pro/Silver/Am categories. Season 13 will also feature an “Old School” class for the older generation cars in ACC.
Eligible cars for Old School points
Drivers should join the server before qualifying to reduce lag spikes caused by custom liveries.
Using custom liveries is optional. Joining mid-session and causing lag may result in penalties.
A 5-minute break will follow qualifying before the race.
