Overtaking
General
1.1.1 It is up to the driver behind to overtake
1.1.2 No going off track to pass other cars
1.1.3 If a driver is forced off track while attempting an overtake they should back off
1.1.4 No pitting defending drivers or otherwise knocking them off track or into the wall
1.1.5 In order to be entitled to a space the attacking driver has to be alongside the defending driver
1.1.6 If an attacking driver drops below the line which marks track limits on their own they are required to back out
Ovals
1.2.1 There is no changing lines suddenly or abruptly if there are other cars close to the attacking driver
1.2.2 There is no changing lines mid corner unless there is nobody below/above the driver
1.2.3 If an attacking driver makes it 3 wide and a crash happens while they are still 3 wide they are at fault unless show clear hazardous behavior
Defending
General
2.1.1 No reactionary moves
2.1.2 The defending driver is only allowed make one move and back to the racing line
2.1.2.2 If a defending driver moves back onto the racing line dangerously then they are at fault
2.1.3 No forcing others below the double yellow or off track if they are significantly alongside
2.1.4 If a defending driver goes off track it is on them to rejoin safely
2.1.5 No changing lines abruptly or cutting attacking drivers off
2.1.6 Defending drivers have to be predictable
2.1.7 Defending drivers need to leave attacking drivers space once they are alongside
2.1.8 No moving under braking
2.1.9 If a defending driver goes off track for any reason they can keep their position as long as it is safe to do so
Ovals
2.2.1 Defending drivers cannot change lines in the corners/ banking unpredictably
Procedures
Pace lap
3.1.1 At the start of each race there is one pace lap
Cautions
3.2.1 Cautions will be called once a specified amount of cars wreck/crash
3.2.2 Once there is a caution the cars must stay in the order that they crossed the line in
3.2.3 The speed limit for leaders will be specified by the race host
3.2.4 The cars must be double file during a caution at all ovals
3.2.5 The leader(s) must slow down to a given pace speed within a reasonable time
3.2.6 The cautions will last for a specified time or until all drivers are caught up
3.2.7 On caution restart all cars go once the leader(s) cross the line
3.2.8 There will be no cautions in the last 3 laps of a race or 2 laps following a race start/restart
3.2.9 If a driver causes a wreck under caution they will not regain their lost positions
3.2.10 If there is a crash involving a significant amount of cars there will be a caution unless its the last 3 laps of the race
Miscellaneous
3.3.1 No driving backwards on track
3.3.2 The specified stage laps are the final laps of said stage
Pitting
General
4.1.1 Drivers may not pit when pits are closed
4.1.2 If a driver causes a crash on pit exit they will be penalized
Tuning
General
5.1.1 The correct tune must be used for every event
5.1.2 Personal tunes are not allowed
Miscellaneous
Communication
6.1.1 Drivers should refrain from talking about non race related matters
6.1.2 All Driver numbers cannot exceed 2 digits
Track Limits
6.2.1 Track limits on road courses are anything paved
6.2.2 Track limits on ovals are specified by the either the white or double yellow lines
Requirements for participation
General
7.1.1 Must have a driver number
7.1.2 Must have a livery with the driver’s number on it
7.1.3 Must be signed up
7.1.4 Must not be suspended
Penalties
General
8.1.1 If a driver wants to report a breakage of the rules the must send a clip to the clip reporting channel
8.1.2 If a penalty is decided on, it will be uploaded to the penalties channel
8.1.3 Once it is uploaded the offending driver will have until the following thursday to appeal it
8.1.4 If no appeal is submitted in the given time frame there may not be any after
8.1.5 If an appeal is denied then another one cannot be submitted
8.1.6 Appeals cannot be submitted on behalf of other driver
