Welcome to the Coach Dave 1000, one of the biggest endurance series held on Assetto Corsa Competizione!
The Coach Dave 1000 is an endurance series of 5 1000km (6h) races. For this first season, 3 splits will provided (Pro split, Silver split and Am Split) and each split will hold 44 teams of 3 drivers. That's 396 drivers racing every round and a total of 5000km of racing to determine the champion!
The teams will venture across virtual Europe, starting off at Barcelona in Spain, then to Imola in Italy, Nurburgring in Germany, Silverstone in England and then back to Italy once more for the finale at... Monza!
All teams that successfully qualify to enter the Coach Dave 1000 must pay the entry fee. The entry fee for Silver split and Am split is $75. The entry fee for Pro split is $100.
Each of the three splits will come with a prize pool. Each splits prize pool will be divided between the Top 10:
The prize pools for each split cannot be confirmed until after the qualification phase as the amount is dependant on the number of registered teams.
A split must have a minimum of 40 teams. Splits may be expanded to a maximum of 48 teams if required.
Possible prize pools per split are as follows:
All teams that enter the series must agree to abide by the Terms & Conditions of the series.
To register as a Qualifier for the Coach Dave 1000, click the "Register Team" button. On the next screen, select your team, the drivers of the car, the car and a car number.
All 3 drivers must do the qualifying process with the selected car.
Registration to the qualifiers is free, however teams will be required to pay the entry fee if they successfully qualify for any of the 3 available splits.
If the team successfully qualifies, they may use a different car than the car they qualified with. E.g. Team may qualify in AMG and race with the Porsche.
Registration to the qualifiers will close at 16:00 GMT on Monday 21st March.
The qualification process will begin on Monday 14th March at 12:00 GMT (13:00 CET) and end on Monday 21st March at 21:00 GMT (22:00 CET).
Every team that registers as a Qualifier for the Coach Dave 1000 must have three drivers. All three drivers of the team must set hotlaps at each of the chosen tracks. These tracks are; Barcelona and Monza.
All three drivers must set their laps in the car that the team is registered with and they must use this same car at both tracks. Any laps set in different cars to the registered car will be invalid and will not count.
The best time from each driver will then be averaged together to determine the teams lap time at each track. The team time from Barcelona and Monza will then be added together to create the teams total qualifying time and the leaderboard will be sorted by this time.
Example: Barcelona; 1:43.101 (Driver 1) + 1:43.010 (Driver 2) + 1:42.555 (Driver 3) = 5:08.666 (avg time) Monza; 1:46.809 (Driver 1) + 1:47.001 (Driver 2) + 1:46.888 (Driver 3) = 5:20.698 (avg time) Total Time; 5:08.666 + 5:20.698 = 10:29.364
At minimum, the top 50 teams will qualify to enter the Coach Dave 1000. However, this number may increase as it is dependant on how many of the invited teams accept/reject their invitation. Once the deadline for the invited teams passes, the total number of teams that will qualify as well as the number of slots for each split will be confirmed.
The final number of teams that will progress from the the qualifiers will be confirmed no later than Wednesday 16th March.
All races run on Saturday.

The Coach Dave 1000 will use a newly introduced rule set. This new rule set will see smaller punishments for minor transgressions, allow drivers to race against each other a bit harder within the rules, but the revised licence points system will see repeat offending teams/drivers be punished in a much more severe manner than ever before.
For the full rule set, please click here
All 3 splits will have both live and post race stewarding.
Teams will have to use the Report forms made available in the discord channel #protests for incidents to be investigated by the stewards.
Teams will also get the opportunity to appeal against a penalty they received. Teams are limited to only 3 appeals in the entire season and the appeals will only be reviewed post-race as appeals are viewed by an independant party who was not involved in the original decision.
There are no mandatory pit stops, however a stint timer of 65 minutes will be in place. If a driver does not make a pit stop before the end of the stint limit, then the game will issue a penalty.
Maximum driving time is TBD.
Points will be awarded to the Top 22 of each race.

However, in the event that a driver is unavailable, there are 3 options available to the team:
If a team is unavailable to attend a round in the championship, then use the withdraw function. This is found by clicking on the "Races" tab, and then "Admin" on the round you need to withdraw from. There you will find the withdraw button. Withdrawing from a round means you are withdrawn from both races held that round. It is not possible to only withdraw from one of the two races held at each round.
Every team is permitted 5 withdrawals. However, missing a round without prior withdrawal will see the team disqualified and removed from the series.
