The Bash at Bristol One-Off Money Event

🚨 Announcing: 

Welcome to the one-off NASCAR event ON DIRT hosted by SOP Motorsport! We bring you the Bash at Bristol. A one-off night race on the same weekend as the real Bristol Playoff round in the NASCAR Cup Series. With $50 on the line for the highest points-scoring driver after 160 laps of racing. We are also testing out a brand new automated system that will throw competition cautions at each stage break. So we would love for you to be here testing with us.

📆 When is it: 

• Bristol Dirt at Night! September 22nd 21:00 UK Time. 

✍️ Event Details:  

The SOP Motorsport Bash at Bristol Dirt event will be a 160-lap race. With a brand new automated system in use to throw competition cautions and stage breaks. We will be using the 3 NASCAR Next Gen Cars with fixed setups provided by iRacing. The event will be at night and we will have limited tyre sets (x3), limited fast repairs (x2), with a 20x incident limit until the first penalties are given. No DSQ limit will be enforced. 

🏆 The Prizes: 

The prizes for this one-off NASCAR event will be $50 for the highest point-scoring driver of the Bash at Bristol. 

🚀 Points System: 

You gain points for pole position (5), for fastest lap (5), for stage wins x2 (10) and for the final positions at the flag. 

👨‍✈️ Stewarding: 

All in-game penalties will stand in this series, so they will stand if you get a black flag for any reason during the races. The usual things to get yourself a black flag will be speeding in the pit lane or not returning a position under yellows resulting in pit lane hold time or dropping to the rear of the field on a restart.

Any form of intentional wrecking will see a driver disqualified from the race entirely. Whilst we know crashes can happen in oval racing because of the high-speed close nature of it, we have a zero-tolerance policy of doing it intentionally.

The SOP Motorsport Nascar Cup Bash at Bristol will have a live broadcast and commentary team present on our YouTube channel bringing you all the action live! You want to be here to witness the thrill of speedway racing, the inevitable crashes and the final lap dash to the line! Oh did we mention it will all happen on dirt as well!
