1HOR Junior Prototype Challenge - Support Series

OVERVIEW

Welcome to the 1HOR Summer-Fall Season Support Series, the Junior Prototype Challenge (JPC). We’ll be following the schedule of this season’s Multi-Class Championship with a few twists thrown in!

Car List

We’ll be taking out Forza’s offering for LMP3 and LMP3 inspired Track Toys. Build details are available in the relevant discord channel

REGISTRATION

Registration will be open for the whole season, and wildcards are welcome to drop in. Slots are currently capped at 24 + 7 reserves. Should we fill out the reserve slots, an additional lobby will be opened and lobbies will be split based on qualifying results each week.

General Event Timetable

There will be two race formats used throughout this season, Standard Race, and Sprint Bracket. Any event specific deviations will be noted in the event schedule

Standard Race

• Practice - 10:00 AM EST (60 minutes)
• Drivers Briefing - 11:00 AM EST
• Qualifying - 11:00 AM EST (15 mins)
• Race - 11:30 AM EST (50 mins)

Sprint Bracket

• Practice - 10:00 AM EST (60 minutes)
• Drivers Briefing - 11:00 AM EST
• Qualifying - 11:00 AM EST (15 mins)
• Race 1 - 11:30 AM EST (25 mins)
• Race 2 - 12:00 AM EST (25 mins)

Pole Position for Standard Races and Race 1 of Sprint Brackets will be determined by best clean lap times in qualifying. P1 of Race 2 in Sprint Brackets will be the faster time between the fastest Qualifying Time and Fastest Lap in Race 1.

POINTS SYSTEM

All details can be found on the points tab on SimGrid. 

Points are Per Race and Standard Race (50 min) rounds will award double points 

Pole Position: +3 (Fastest Time in Qualifying)

Fastest Lap: +2 (Doubled in Standard Race)

STEWARDING

This series will be post race stewarded.
