Description and Instructions

VIRTUAL RACING LEAGUE IS AN ESTABLISHED AND GROWING SIMRACING COMMUNITY AROUND ASSETTO CORSA COMPETIZIONE EXCLUSIVELY ON PLAYSTATION 5 CONSOLES AND NOW ALSO XBOX X.

  • this this special event is created for a team of two drivers sharing one car. the event will consist of two one-hour races, which will be run right after each other, and both pilots must participate in both races!

    100€ for the winning team!

    *the championship will only start if at least 20 cars are registered!
    the first race will be the classic GT format, that means:

    • FIRST  RACE :
    • MANDATORY REFUELLING 
    • MANDATORY TYRE CHANGE
    • MANDATORY DRIVER SWAP
    • SECOND RACE

            • MANDATORY DRIVER SWAP
            • FORBIDDEN REFUELLING 
            • FORBIDDEN TYRE CHANGE
            • reversed GRID for thE TOP 15 cars from the first race

                And we will start this VRL Team Series at the beginning of Januar 2025.

                •    RACE DAY:

                1. (18:00 CET) Server restart – Virtual RacingLeague / GT3 League 5th Season

                2. (18:00 CET – 18:15 CET) - 15min Practice – connecting all drivers to the lobby 

                3. (18:15 CET – 18:30 CET) - 15min Qualification -  everyone must be on the server before qualification starts

                4. (18:35 CET – 19:35 CET)  first 60min Race – not allowed to leave the lobby

                5. (19:45 CET cca) Server restart with the new starting grid set

                6. (19:45 CET – 19:50 CET) 5min Practice – only for entering the lobby, possible exchange of drivers.

                7. (19:50 CET – 20:50 CET) second 60min Race – not allowed to leave the lobby

                • PIT STOPS: 

                • 10 min pit window for both races 
                • 1x maNDATORY pit stop for both races

                • First  Race :

                • Mandatory Refuelling 
                • Mandatory Tyre change
                • MandATORY driver swap

                • SECOND RACE 

                • MANDATORY DRIVER SWAP
                • forbidden Refuelling 
                • Forbidden tyre change 
                • REVERSED GRID FOR THE TOP 15 CARS FROM THE FIRST RACE

                • STEWARDING:

                There will be no live stewarding.

                Post Race Reporting will be available here on SimGrid and all drivers have 23 hours from the end of the race to report the incident.
