Actual Incidents:

• Minor Incident (1 Car involved, some time or position loss): 5 second time penalty
• Moderate Incident (1 or more cars involved with significant time or position loss): 10 sec penalty
• Severe Incident (1 or more cars involved with major time or position loss, includes unsafe rejoins, failure to hold brakes, and causing damage to other vehicles): 15 sec penalty

Racing incidents:

Racing incidents will not be penalized unless they appear to be intentional. A racing incident is a term used to describe a situation where neither driver involved is predominantly at fault. Racing incidents are often seen as unavoidable situations in the heat of competition, and penalties are not applied to maintain fairness and acknowledge the unpredictable nature of racing.
