Description and Instructions

OVERVIEW

Welcome to the foggy season of this year! This time out you will be experiencing high levels of unpredictability in terms of weather and track temperature, so keep a close eye on the weather radar. This season we will be continuing the split system to help beginners/slower drivers have a chance to fight for top positions and overall close up the gap between the field by placing them in the appropriate groups! In Season 7 we will also be having different length races for these races:

  • Barcelona - 45 minute sprint
  • Imola - 45 minute sprint
  • Bathurst - 90 minutes

The rest of the races will be the standard 60 minutes long!

This season will have two splits: PRO split AM split

REGISTRATION

When registering for this season you will be able to choose between two options, the PRO split and the AM split! This is under your control, but we can switch you around to the appropriate split if we feel that you are too quick/slow for the current split you are in. On "How to choose a split" refer to the "CHOOSING A SPLIT" part of this page! Please DO NOT pick the incorrect split when signing up, as you will be noticed and moved to the appropriate split (with a possible penalty for how serious the difference was).

Be assured when registering for this league, we will guarantee you a spot in the championship (unless signed up as a reserve driver). If by any chance a driver retires from the championship, a reserve driver will take their place, in the appropriate split.

Everyone who registers for this championship MUST be part of our discord: VGTR Discord

CHOOSING A SPLIT

This season we will be allowing the drivers to choose their own splits. Obviously that does come with a possible risk of slower drivers in PRO and faster drivers in AM, but we will do everything in our hands to fix those problems if it arises! Below are a set of PRO times that we advise you follow when picking AM or PRO as your class:

  • Barcelona: 1:45.575
  • Mount Panorama: 2:03.575
  • Spa: 2:19.350
  • Kyalami: 1:43.1

If you choose the wrong split on purpose, we will not hesitate to move you to the appropriate split with no point compensation, so pick carefully!

SCHEDULE:

  • Practice - 16:00 UTC (15 minutes)
  • Qualifying - 16:15 UTC (20 minutes)
  • Race - 16:35 UTC (45, 60 or 90 minutes, check "OVERVIEW")

PIT STOPS

1 mandatory pitstop will be in place. No mandatory tire change BUT a mandatory refuel + refuelling will now be a fixed time (25 seconds no matter how little or much fuel you put in).

STEWARDING

Stewarding will happen after the race via a reporting system.

CUSTOM LIVERIES

Custom liveries are allowed during the race. You can upload them on the discord so everyone can see and use them. The livery cannot have any derogatory or discriminatory stickers otherwise you will be banned.
