Description and Instructions

OVERVIEW

Which German GT3 car is best? Which German GT4 car is best? Can one of the 4 manufacturers win both classes?! It's time to find out with The Sim Grids first German Cup!

We head to Nurburgring (of course!) for 90minutes of intense multiclass racing between the 4 German manufacturers; Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Porsche.

There are 6 splits available, and space on the grid for 50 cars in each split (30 GT3, 20 GT4), we could have up to 300 drivers racing in one evening! But you should act fast if you want to be one of them.

*More splits may be made available depending on demand.

SIGN UP PROCESS

First-come-first-serve event. Register quickly to secure your space on the grid. Once the grid is full, you can register as a reserve driver and then take any available grid slots should a driver drop out or be absent.

WHAT SPLIT SHALL I CHOOSE?

The split you choose to race in is ultimately your decision, but we want to ensure that drivers are racing in splits where they can be competitive and are of similar experience to those around them. A large gap in pace and experience can cause problems on track. Splits 1-2 are ideal for the fastest and most experienced drivers, working all the way down to split 6 which is an ideal split for rookies.

EVENT TIMETABLE

Practice - 19:30 CET
Drivers Briefing - 20:20 CET
Qualifying - 20:30 CET (15min for GT4 and 15min for GT3)
Race - 21:00 CET

PIT STOPS

Two mandatory pit stops are required and these can be taken at any point during the race.

STEWARDING

Split 1 will have both Live and post-race stewarding. Splits 2-5 may have live stewarding depending on steward availability. All splits will have post-race stewarding using the report form available here on the website under the `Races` tab. Please read the rules to learn about the incident report process.

CUSTOM LIVERIES

The use of custom liveries made outside of the game is permitted in this event. However, the use of these liveries is not officially supported by the game developers. Please be aware that running external custom liveries can induce significant client side lag when another user connects or disconnects.
