MCGS GT3/GT4 Cup(DISCORD REQUIRED)

Hosted by Multi-Class Grand Series GT7 on PlayStation Followers Only
MCGS League-wide Rules:
1. Number one rule of MCGS is REMAIN RESPECTFUL even if your race was ruined. This is a league that works to keep it friendly, competitive and fun for all. Work with your competitors to help each other get faster and build a good community.
2. NO quitting mid-race. If you quit mid race without a good excuse, you will be immediately disqualified and replaced from the championship.
3. CLEAN RACING. Purposeful dirty racing will result in strict penalties.

GT3/GT4 Cup Specific Rules:
1. The only manufacturers allowed are Ferrari and Porsche in both classes.
2. You must partner up with a teammate from the opposite class. A team consists of one GT3 driver and one GT4 driver.
3. Teams must have the same/similar liveries on their cars. They don't have to be exactly the same, but enough to know you are on the same team.
4. Team points per race = GT3 driver points + GT4 driver points split in half.(But if a team only runs one driver in a race because the teammate can't make it, then that one driver's race points will not be split in half) This is to keep the team championship fair and competitive.
5. There is a single driver's championship and a team championship. Each driver is required to have a teammate, but they are also competing to win the driver's championship in their specific class. The team championship is across-classes while the driver's championship is class-specific.

FAQ:
Are we allowed to change liveries?
Yes, as long as both teammates change liveries to keep the team livery.

Can one teammate run a Ferrari and the other run a Porsche?
Yes, a GT3 driver can run a Porsche and his GT4 teammate can run a Ferrari, and vice versa. But you cannot change cars without explicit permission after that is decided.

What if I disconnect mid-race? Am I disqualified?
If that happens, talk to the stewards via discord and explain what happened. You will not be disqualified if you have a valid reason why you were not able to complete the race.

Are SimGrid and Discord standings the same?
Unfortunately we can not run the correct point system for the team championship in SimGrid, so the only correct standings will be the drivers standings.

Is this a team and drivers championship or only a team one?
Both. There is both a team championship and a single driver's championship. But a team is required for each driver.
