📘VSS 2.5HR CLASSIC – RACE RULES  📘

To ensure everyone enjoys a fair and competitive experience, all participants must follow these core rules throughout race week:

🧼 Clean Racing Is Mandatory

 

• Respect your fellow drivers at all times – no divebombs, punting, or reckless behaviour.
  
  
• Race with spatial awareness; incidents ruin the event for everyone.
  
  
• If you cause an incident, you are expected to redress safely (give the place back when appropriate).
  
  

⚖️ Track Limits

 

• Always respect in-game track limits.
  
  
• Repeated abuse will result in penalties or disqualification.
  
  

🟨 Yellow Flags & Safety

 

• Exercise caution in yellow flag zones – overtaking is only permitted if the car ahead is stopped or clearly off track.
  
  
• Use mirrors, relative, and awareness to avoid unnecessary incidents.
  
  

🎙️ Voice Communications

 

• Voice channels are available, but keep them clear during qualifying and race sessions.
  
  
• Important callouts only – let your driving do the talking.
  
  

📥 Registration & Attendance

 

• Only register if you can attend the race – no-shows take away valuable spots from others.
  
  
• Joining the Velocity Simsports Discord is required – all briefings, updates, and clarifications will be posted there.
  
  

🚨 Penalties & Reviews

 

• Post-race penalties may apply.
  
  
• VSS reserves the right to adjust finishing positions based on the outcome of any reviewed incidents.
  
  
• Drivers will have the opportunity to appeal decisions – the appeals process will be made available via Discord.
  
  
• Serious or repeat offences can lead to disqualification or bans from future VSS events.
