NEW SERVER RULES PACKAGE
All penalties are at the Race Director’s discretion.
IT IS MANDATORY TO BE ON THE DESIGNATED VC IN DISCORD AT THE TIME OF THE RACE TO RECIEVE INSTRUCTIONS FROM RACE CONTROL.
1. Restart Zone & Procedures
a. Choose Lane Rule
- When the Race Director calls “Choose lane,” each car must commit to a lane before crossing the start/finish line.
- At least two wheels must be inside the chosen lane.
- Failure to choose a lane = start at the end of the longest line.
b. Restart Control
- The leader controls the restart and must call “green” before accelerating.
- The restart call must be made within the designated restart zone (defined for each race).
- If the leader has not gone by the start/finish line, the race automatically goes green at the line.
2. Pitting
a. Under Green Flag
- Drivers may pit at any time.
b. Under Yellow Flag
- The Race Director controls pit road status (open/closed).
- Pit road is automatically closed once the caution is called.
c. Pit Entry
- Stay behind the car in front of you (whether they pit or not) until crossing the pit entry line.
- No pit entry speed limit.
- You cannot pass another car before crossing the pit entry line.
3. Cautions
a. No cautions in the first 5 laps of the race.
b. No cautions in the last 5 laps of the race.
c. Restart Incidents
- If a caution occurs on a restart (within the above limits) before completing one green lap:
- Pit lane stays closed.
- A quick restart will follow the caution.
- This repeats as needed until at least one green lap is completed, then pit lane opens.
d. What Triggers a Caution
- Any incident involving 2 or more cars.
- If a driver is spun out by another car, it counts as a 2-car incident.
- Single-car spin does not trigger a caution, unless the driver must teleport (e.g., off track, lost wheel).
e. Caution Penalties
- Any driver who causes a caution, plus any driver involved who falls off pace, must drop to the back.
- The driver who caused the wreck must take the tail end of the longest line.
f. Caution Speed Limit
- Under yellow flag conditions, all cars must maintain a maximum speed of 80 mph (130 km/h).
4. Stage Cautions
- Stage 1: Lap 30
- Stage 2: Lap 60
- Stage 3: Final stage to the finish
5. Red Flags
- A red flag may be thrown at the Race Director’s discretion for extraordinary circumstances.
- Red flags cannot be called within the final 5 laps of the race.
