Reporting incidents

Wiz Motorsport encourages drivers to report any and all incidents to the incident reporting. If you caused an incident, were involved in an incident, saw an incident, or are unsure something is an incident, please report it using the instructions below.

Incident reporting and the penalty system are designed to make Wiz Motorsport a fair racing community and help drivers improve by learning from their mistakes.

If you caused an incident, it is recommended to reach out to the involved driver(s) via DM to apologize. If you receive an apology and are still upset about the incident, we recommend waiting until you have cooled down before responding.

 Post-race stewarding

You can submit incident reports up to 48 hours after the race start time by using messaging

/ticket open

Multiple stewards will go over all reports to provide an incident report. If a steward was involved in an incident, they will not be involved in the discussion.

Report Format

Car #<your car number> reports incident <session(e.g.Q, R, R1, R2)> L<lap number> T<turn number> involving cars <list all car numbers involved>: <brief description of incident>

Example:

Car #1 reports incident R1 L5 T3 involving cars #1, #2, #3: #2 brakes too late resulting in a collision with #3. #3 has an unsafe re-join, resulting in an incident with #1.

If your report does not follow the report format, the report can be deemed invalid.

Appealing

Drivers can appeal both live stewarding and post-race stewarding decisions if they feel that the penalty issued in the incident report was unfair.

To submit a post-race appeal, go to incident reporting and use command

/ticket open

Stewards will have a fresh look at the incident and post an appeal report later in the week. Appealing an incident incurs no penalty, however, stewards may judge that the incident warrants a harsher penalty than the original.
