Overview
Welcome to the very first season of the RaceFace.Pro Multi-Class Prototype Challenge.
This exciting new series will feature multi-class racing with the GTP and LMP2 classes on alternating Tuesday evenings, starting September 30th. Races are designed to provide high-speed, strategic, and competitive action.
This championship will run alongside the iRacing IMSA Endurance Series, giving drivers a familiar track rotation while offering additional chances for private laps, setup testing, and community battles.
You will have one drop round available during the season.

Entry Fee
This series is free to enter.
Registration
Registration is handled on SimGrid. Seasons will be published there soon – keep an eye on the announcement channels.
iRating & Safety Rating
- No minimum license required.
- Recommended: iRating 1000+ | SR D or higher
- Drivers with iRating 1800+ or real-world racing experience must enter the Pro division.
- League organisers may reassign drivers between Pro/Am divisions if pace is mismatched.
- Sandbagging will result in loss of points or possible removal from the league.
Race Day Schedule
The league will use iRacing hosted sessions – see the Races Tab on SimGrid for server/password details.
Rounds 1–6
- Drivers Briefing: 20:15
- Server Live: 20:30
- Practice: 5 min
- Qualifying: 10 min (4 laps, closed)
- Race: 80 min
All times GMT+2
Race Format
- Each round consists of a single endurance-style race of 80 min).
- Classes: GTP + LMP2
- Grid may feature partial reverse slots (announced per round).
Rules
- 18x → Drive Through Penalty
- Every +10x → Drive Through Penalty
- 40x → Disqualification
- 1 Fast Repair only
- Open Setup
Weather
- Weather will follow IMSA Endurance Series standards, with slight variations in temperature, clouds, or wind for realism.
- If IMSA rounds include night or rain conditions, the league organiser may adjust settings.
- Weather details will be announced one week prior to each round.
Grading System
To ensure competitive racing in both classes, a grading session will be held prior to the season.
- Date/Time: To Be Announced
- Location: Spa-Francorchamps
- Format: Open sessions for drivers to set their best lap times
- Purpose: to determine Pro/Am grid placements and ensure close battles across the field
Stewarding
- No live stewarding.
- The first 3 laps will be automatically reviewed after each race.
- Drivers must log incidents via the form on our Discord.
Broadcast
All races will be live-streamed on the RaceFace.Pro YouTube Channel.

Trading Paints is supported – please ensure liveries are safe for work.
Can’t Make a Race?
If you cannot make a race, please use the sign-out/withdraw function on SimGrid for that round.
