Welcome to Thermal Racing's first Sportscar Season! Thermal has run a successful formula league for a while now, and we are just now venturing out to the world of Sportscar racing.

We all hate GTP's just a lil, right? (jk of course).

In all seriousness, we wanted to create an environment where LMP2 and GT3 drivers can take a break from officials and race in a more-regulated, cleaner series. Officials are a great time, but the lack of consequence for poor driving can create a space for drivers to be more erratic and dangerous on track. Leagues tend to generate quality racing and camaraderie amongst drivers.

Our first season will consists of 6 rounds. We followed the ELMS schedule as close as we could with the tracks that are available in iRacing. We had to swap one track (Le Castellat) with Le Mans. It only made sense with both tracks being in France.

Our race structure is simple, 15m Qualifying w/ 3 Flying Laps -> 5m Warmup -> 60m Race.
We will have a practice that opens 60 minutes before qualifying start.
