3. RACE RULES (DRIVING CONDUCT)
3.1 General Driving Rules
Above all, race clean. Avoid unnecessary contact and always leave space.
If you're side-by-side into a corner, you must leave enough room for the other driver to stay on track without touching grass or gravel.
Blue flags must be respected at all times โ do not block faster cars or those trying to lap you.
Any dirty or unsportsmanlike behavior will be penalized.
3.2 Pit-lane
Crossing the pit entry or exit line is strictly forbidden and will result in a severe penalty.
4. FCY / SC / LIVE STEWARDING
4.1 How it works
A voice stage channel will be opened on Discord.
Lobatodelarosa33 (the Safety Car) will manage race control and live penalties.
All teams are required to be present in this channel, where FCY, SC, and penalties will be announced.
4.2 Live Stewarding
The SC will announce penalties or warnings live.
Examples:
- Car #65 โ 10 seconds for ignoring blue flags
- Car #454 โ Let car #909 pass due to off-track overtake / illegal maneuver
โ If not respected:
Car #454 โ DT for gaining position off-track. You have 3 laps to serve the penalty.
All penalties will be posted in a dedicated channel.
Post-race, teams may discuss them with the SC to appeal, reduce, or remove the penalty.
4.3 FCY (Full Course Yellow)
ACC doesnโt have an official FCY system, so we will simulate it manually.
During FCY, all cars must activate the pit limiter and drive at 50 km/h.
FCY will be deployed if there's an incident involving more than 2 cars with significant damage.
Duration: 1 to 2 minutes
Message given:
โFCY will be deployed in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1โ
From that moment, pit limiter must be activated and speed reduced to 50 km/h.
โ ๏ธ Any driver who overtakes or gains time will receive a 30-second penalty.
4.4 SC (Safety Car)
Since ACC doesnโt support SC officially, Lobatodelarosa33 will manually drive an M2 as Safety Car.
SC will be used if 3 or more cars are involved in a severe crash.
Duration: 2 to 4 laps
Message given:
โSC will be deployed in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...โ
The SC will wait for the leader (P1) to catch up.
Once P1 is behind, the SC will authorize all lapped cars to unlap themselves from wherever they are on track.
4.5 Why we use FCY and SC
We implement FCY and SC in order to:
- Allow cars to repair damage without losing a full lap
- Improve strategic variation during pit cycles
- Offer a more immersive and realistic racing experience
4.6 Can you serve a mandatory stop under FCY or SC?
Yes. You may serve one of the two mandatory fuel stops during a FCY or SC period. This adds strategic flexibility.
5. PENALTIES
- Forcing another car off-track: 5 to 15 seconds
- Intentionally crashing another car: 30 seconds to Disqualification (DSQ)
- Ignoring blue flags: 10 to 20 seconds
- Ignoring blue flags during qualifying: 10 seconds
- Dangerous rejoin: 5 to 15 seconds
- Crossing the pit entry/exit line: 20 seconds
- Ignoring Race Director / SC instructions: Drive Through (DT)
Any incidents not listed here will be reviewed and penalized as fairly and reasonably as possible.
6. BROADCAST
There is no official broadcast or commentary at the moment, but this may change depending on interest or volunteers.
7. RED FLAG / RACE RESTART
In case of a Red Flag due to server errors, mass disconnections or serious technical issues:
- The race will be restarted with the remaining time
- The starting order will be restored based on the last known race positions
