CHAMPIONSHIP Rules for ACC

1. General Overview
The races for Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC) will be a 75-minute races for solo drivers, with no driver swaps. The races will take place under the rules and conditions specified below, ensuring fairness and competitive integrity. Crossplay will be enabled, allowing players from different platforms (PlayStation & Xbox) to compete together.

2. Race Format
- Race Duration: 75 minutes (1 hour 15 minuets)
- Grid Formation: The grid will be determined through a qualifying session, with the fastest times setting the order.
- Pit Stops: All cars must make at least two pit stops during the race. Tire changes, fuel refueling, and repairs can be done during the pit stop.

3. Crossplay Eligibility
- Platforms: The race will support crossplay between PlayStation & Xbox platforms.
- Connectivity: All players should ensure they have stable internet connections to avoid disconnections or lag during races. Players should ensure their game is updated to the latest version for compatibility across platforms.
- Controller/Steering Wheel Compatibility: All players must use a compatible controller, steering wheel, or similar device that provides a competitive advantage on the same level.

4. Pit Stops
- Mandatory Pit Stop: Each car must complete at least two pit stop during the race.
- Fueling: Drivers may refuel during their pit stop. However, there are 5 TIRE SETS restriction on tire usage.
- Pit Lane Speed Limit: The pit lane speed limit is 50 km/h. Exceeding this limit will result in in-game penalty

5. Qualifying
- Session Length: Qualifying will consist of a 15-minute session.
- Grid Placement: The grid will be determined by the fastest lap times set in qualifying.
- Driver Substitution: Since this is a solo event, there will be no driver swaps, and the starting position will be determined by qualifying times.

6. Race Conduct
- Clean Racing: All competitors are expected to race cleanly and respectfully. Any form of reckless driving, intentional wrecking, or unsportsmanlike behavior may result in penalties or disqualification.
- Blue Flags: Lapped cars must yield to cars on the lead lap as indicated by blue flags. Failure to comply may result in a penalty.
- Pit Entry/Exit: Drivers must follow proper procedures when entering or exiting the pit lane. If a driver cuts the pit lane entry or exit, they will incur a penalty (10 seconds added to their total race time).
- Collisions: If an incident occurs that involves multiple cars, race control will review the footage and determine fault. Faulty incidents will result in a time penalty for the offending car(s).

7. Points System
The following points structure will be used for the championship if applicable: Position Points:
PROGRESSIVE POINTS
- The last position is given 1 point.
- The field is divided into thirds. Points in the bottom third will be seperated by 1 point.
- Points in the middle third will be seperated by 2 points.
- Points in the top third will be seperated by 3 points.
- Podium positions are awaraded additional points on top of this (P1: 3, P2: 2, P3: 1).
Race Craft Bonus Points:
Additional points will be awarded for exceptional racecraft in three categories, provided the driver finishes in the Top 10:
- Fastest Lap: 5 points
- Consistency: 5 points
- Clear Control: 5 points
Maximum possible Race Craft Points per driver: 5 points

8. Race Control & Penalties
- Race Control: Race control will be available for all competitors after the race trough communication channel on Discord. They will monitor all race activities and ensure fair play.
- Penalties: Penalties may be applied for:
- Contact or Accidents: A time penalty (5-30 seconds) depending on the severity of the incident.
- Pit Speed Limit Violations: In-game rules for speed limit.
- Blue Flag Violations: A +30β time penalty will be issued for the first offence, with a -5 points and +30β time penalty for repeated infractions.
- Disqualification: Any participant found violating these rules intentionally or excessively (e.g., multiple incidents of reckless driving, collusion) may be disqualified from the event.

9. Disconnection and Technical Issues
- Disconnections: In the event of a driverβs disconnection during the race, they may be allowed to rejoin if possible, but the race will continue under normal circumstances.
- Technical Issues: In the case of technical issues preventing a driver from completing the race (e.g., controller issues, system crashes), driver is allowed to re-entry or issue a time penalty depending on the situation.
