Positive Perception LMU β Season 3
Rules and Procedures
Welcome to Season 3 of Positive Perception LMU β an exciting 6-round championship featuring Le Mans Hypercar (LMH) and Le Mans GT3 (LMGT3) classes in Le Mans Ultimate (LMU). Whether you're a returning competitor or new to the series, this championship offers thrilling, close-quarters racing, streamed live on the Positive Perception YouTube channel.
Series Overview
Classes and Categories:
Drivers will compete in either LMH or LMGT3 classes.
- LMH: Split into PRO and SILVER categories
- LMGT3: Split into PRO/AM and AM categories
Separate points will be scored for categories as well as overall within each class.
Entry Restrictions:
- Only returning drivers who have previously scored points in PRO or SILVER in Positive Perceptionβs ACC leagues are eligible for LMH entries or LMGT3 PRO/AM entries.
- Newcomers and unclassified drivers will be restricted to LMGT3 AM entries.
- Admin discretion overrides all class restrictions.
Event Schedule
Each event will consist of:
- 19:00 UK β 30-minute Free Practice 1 (FP1)
- 19:35 UK β 20-minute Solo Qualifying
- 20:00 UK β 60-minute Race

- Round 1 β Fuji β 18th September 2025
- Round 2 β Monza β 2nd October 2025
- Round 3 β Bahrain β 16th October 2025
- Round 4 β SΓ£o Paulo β 30th October 2025
- Round 5 β Losail β 13th November 2025
- Round 6 β PortimΓ£o β 27th November 2025
Note: DLC content may be required for some tracks.
Practice Server
There is no permanent practice server to help manage hosting costs. However, there will be an official timed practice session before each race:
- Wednesdays before race day
- Server opens at 19:30 UK
- Session length: 2 hours
- Maximum server capacity: 20 drivers
These sessions use race-day server settings for realistic preparation.
General Rules
Car Selection:
- Drivers must select a car from either LMH or LMGT3 at the start of the season.
- One car change is allowed per season but incurs a 50-point deduction from both category and overall standings.
- Car changes must be submitted at least 1 hour before server start time.
Attendance:
- Drivers unable to attend must sign out via SimGrid at least 1 hour before the event.
- Failure to sign out may result in removal from the grid and replacement by reserves.
- Drivers may miss a maximum of two events per season.
Track Limits and Racing Etiquette:
- Stay within white lines unless avoiding an incident.
- Any advantage gained through contact must be redressed immediately.
- Respectful and clean racing is expected at all times.
- Tyre warmers are NOT enabled β all sessions start with cold tyres; caution required on lap 1.
- All track limit penalties and other race-relevant penalties are server-side and will NOT be overturned or adjusted by admins under any circumstances.
Pit Stops:
- Pit lane entry, exit lines, and speed limits must be observed.
- Drivers are responsible for understanding pit rules and server settings.
In-Game Chat:
- Text chat is prohibited during live sessions until all cars have finished.
- Violations may result in penalties.
Weather Settings:
- Race weather will be announced ahead of each round.
Race Start:
- Races begin with the in-game rolling start handled by the automated LMU system.
Custom Liveries
On signup, drivers may choose:
- Stock liveries (in-game)
- Custom liveries
Custom liveries must:
- Not contain offensive content (language, symbols, imagery)
- Contain no political or controversial references
- Be suitable for broadcast on YouTube and general audiences
All custom liveries are subject to admin approval. Admin decision is final.
Stewarding
Post-Race Stewarding:
- All incidents reviewed after each race by three appointed stewards.
- Stewarding is fair and thorough; drivers should review incidents before protesting.
Protests:
- Must be submitted via official protest form within 24 hours of race end.
- Must include time/location of incident, drivers involved, and clear explanation.
- Failure to provide all details may lead to protest being discarded and ignored.

Drivers accumulating 6 penalty points may face a race ban. Penalty points reduce after two clean races.
Points System
Points awarded (category and overall):
1st β 30 points
2nd β 26 points
3rd β 24 points
4th β 22 points
5th β 20 points
6th β 19 points
...
25th β 1 point
Best 5 out of 6 results count towards championship.
Tiebreakers:
- Highest single-round score
- Qualifying average
