HFG Americas Nights - Season 7 - American GT

TO JOIN OUR EVENTS YOU MUST 

1) BE A MEMBER OF OUR DISCORD, AND  2) YOUR NICKNAME IN OUR DISCORD MUST CONTAIN YOUR SIMGRID PROFILE NAME.   

Anyone who signs up for our events must do 1 & 2 above within 24 hours or they may be removed from the event.

OVERVIEW 

Our Seventh season racing Friday nights is here! This season is focused on just American tracks, so it will be short, sweet and competitive!

Our rules are found in the HFG Discord and on the Rules tab for this event.

EVENT TIMETABLE 

START TIME: 2000 EDT / 0000 UTC

Practice - 10 Minutes

Qualifying - 15 Minutes

Race - 70 Minutes

You do not have to join the server at the beginning of practice, just do so before Qualifying begins to avoid causing lag spikes.

PIT STOPS

There are no pit mandatory stops, but there is a 40 minute stint timer. Drivers have 3 tire sets for the full event.

DROP ROUNDS

There are no drop rounds in this series.

CUSTOM LIVERIES

The use of custom liveries made outside of the game is permitted in this series. However, the use of these liveries is not officially supported by the game developers. Please be aware that running external custom liveries can induce significant client side lag when another user connects or disconnects.

WITHDRAWALS

If you are signed up but then unavailable to attend the series, please click 'manage registration' and then click 'leave event' so that others can join the event. If you can’t make a specific race then go to the Races tab and select Admin, then click “Withdraw” to avoid losing championship points.

STEWARDING

This series has post-race stewarding. If you feel someone was deliberately not following the rules, go to the race tab on the SimGrid web site, select the race, then select the admin tab, and click on the incident report button. For rude in-game chat, take a screenshot of the chat and submit it to Jacky Harris or Guidot (Jeff) via PM on Discord.
