Teams Championship Overview
The Teams Off Season Event is an exhilarating endurance racing series designed to bring together the best talent from across platforms, including Xbox users. This inclusive format ensures a diverse roster of participants, competing for glory in an array of challenging races that test skill, strategy, and teamwork.
Qualifying Session
The qualifying session is crucial in setting the stage for each race. Participants are allotted a 15-minute window to set their fastest lap times. During this period, drivers must adhere to proper racing etiquette:
- Yielding on Invalid or Out Laps: Drivers who have invalidated their lap or are on an out lap have a responsibility to yield to those on a hot lap. This ensures fairness and safety, allowing every driver the opportunity to set their best possible time without obstruction.
Race Day and Stewarding
Post-race stewarding plays an essential role in maintaining the integrity and competitive spirit of the championship:
- Incident Review: All incidents are reviewed after the race concludes. Teams have a 24-hour window to lodge any grievances via the Discord ticket system. It is critical that grievances are supported by evidenceāteams must save race replays and clip relevant footage when possible to substantiate their claims.
Calendar and Format
The Teams Championship is placed strategically within the broader racing calendar:
- Endurance Season: This championship is held during the "Off Season," providing a unique opportunity for teams to compete when the main series is on hiatus.
