Description and Instructions

SLIPSTREAM INTERNATIONAL - 4HR Watkins Glen Endurance

🏆Event Overview:

The 4HR Watkins Glen Endurance is a 240 minute race around the Watkins Glen circuit. This is a team endurance for up to 4 driver teams. There are no stint timers, no mandatory stops, and no pitstop requirements. It is a completely open strategy!

🏁Race Format: 

Each race event features:

  • 60-minute Free Practice
  • 10-minute Drivers Briefing in Discord
  • 30-minute Qualifying
  • 240-minute (4hr) Race

⚔️Competitiveness:

  • Extended LFM BOP will be used in this series. This extended BOP will include all previous generation cars (e.g. Lexus, AMR V12, etc) based on LFM's Hotlap BOP Predictions.

🌧️Weather Conditions:

  • We will use real life weather as a reference to set the conditions. This means it may not be the same as real life conditions, but it will be accurate to possible real conditions.

🛤️Practice Server: 

  • An open practice server will be open at all times. A practice server for driver swaps will be set up one week in advance.
  • The communication to the drivers will contain the server setup details like: - Cloud coverage ⛅ - Rain probability 🌧️ - Weather randomness 🔀 - Time multiplier ⏱️ - Temperature 🌡️

🐕‍🦺Assists:  

  • All tiers will have the maximum stability control setting to zero and auto-steer disabled. Other than the ones mentioned here, all assists are allowed to be used.

👮Stewarding and Live Streaming: 

  • All drivers will be required to join the driver's briefing stage in our discord server after the conclusion of FP1. 
  • There will be a live broadcast.
  • The stewards will use contact logs to hand out penalties, but if you have an incident that you believe needs to be looked at, please contact the stewards.
  • The stewards can and will hand out penalties without reports if they deem it appropriate and necessary.
DLC WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPETE IN THIS ENTIRE SERIES

Participation in this championship is free of charge. To participate, you must join the Slipstream International Discord Server. All events are run through this server.
