Rules and Procedures

General Format

Welcome to PosPer GT3 Season 14! This 5-round series uses any GT3 car from Assetto Corsa Competizione. Custom liveries are encouraged! Round details, including pit strategies and weather settings, will be posted before each event.

Drivers of all skill levels are welcome. We maintain three driver categories: Pro, Silver, and Am, based on previous results. New drivers should contact an admin for classification.

Race Schedule

1 - 12/06/25 - Barcelona - 60 minute - Variable pit and weather settings

2 - 26/06/25 - Red Bull Ring - 60 minutes - Variable pit and weather settings

3 - 10/07/25 - Laguna Seca - 60 minutes - Variable pit and weather settings

4 - 24/07/25 - Bathurst - 60 minutes - Variable pit and weather settings

5 - 07/08/25 - Imola - 60 minutes - Variable pit and weather settings

Note: Pit and weather settings will be communicated before each race via Discord (#ppgt-announcements).

General Rules

• Only GT3 cars from ACC are permitted.

• One car change allowed per season, with a 50-point penalty. Requests must be submitted at least 1 hour before the event.

• Drivers unable to attend must sign out on SimGrid at least 1 hour before the event.

• Maximum 2 sign-outs allowed per driver, per season.

• Reserve drivers may be added to the grid 30 minutes before Free Practice 1.

Driver Categories

• Drivers are assigned to Pro, Silver, or Am categories.

• New drivers must request placement by contacting an admin.

Race Etiquette

• If you gain an advantage through contact, you must redress immediately.

• Lap 1 caution: Extreme care expected through the first few corners.

• Respect other drivers regardless of class or pace.

• Close racing is encouraged, but aggressive or deliberate contact is not tolerated.

Balance of Performance (BOP)

• BOP will be implemented using Pitskill.io.

• BOP settings will be provided before Round 1.

Stewarding & Protests

• A single steward will handle all protests.

• Protests must be submitted within 24 hours via the provided protest form on Discord.

• The steward’s decision is final.

Possible Penalties:

• Warning

• Race Licence Points

• Race Position Penalty

• Championship Points Deduction

• Race Disqualification

• Ballast Penalty (if applicable)

• Race or Championship Ban

• Permanent Ban from Positive Perception

Licence Point System:

• 2 Licence Points per incident

• 1 Licence Point + classified behind involved driver if no redress

• Licence Points carry over between seasons (max 6 points)

• 2 points removed after 2 clean races

Blue Flag Procedure

• Slower cars must hold their racing line.

• Faster cars must ensure a safe and clean pass.

• Blue flags must be respected within one lap.

Racing Rules

Qualifying:

• 25-minute qualifying session.

• Leave room for safe laps.

• No overtaking during the first out-lap.

• Drivers on hot laps: trailing driver should yield.

• No "last-to-first" challenges without a qualifying time—penalties apply.

Pit Stops:

• Repair pits open at all times.

• Mandatory pit stops (tyres/fuel) vary per round.

Pit Entry/Exit:

• Respect all pit entry/exit lines and speed limits.

Text Chat:

• No chat during sessions until all cars have completed the race.

Weather Settings:

• Announced before each event.

Server Settings:

• Practice servers mirror race settings.

• Locked entry list after qualifying begins.

Custom Liveries

• Upload liveries via Awesome Sim Racing (ASR) under the PosPer GT3 collection.

• No explicit or offensive content allowed.

Points System

• Best 4 of 5 rounds count toward the final standings.

• Ties broken by best single round result, then qualifying average.

• Points awarded both overall and within Pro/Silver/Am categories.

Footnotes

• Drivers must join servers before qualifying to avoid lag from custom liveries.

• A 5-minute break follows qualifying before race start.

• Mid-session joins that cause server lag may result in penalties.

• Using custom liveries is optional but encouraged.
