Formula Racing League’s exciting Sprint Series held on a Sunday night is BACK for 2025 with some new and exciting twists to keep it fresh for those on track and keep the surprises coming for those tuning in to your YouTube on Sunday nights!

An exciting, shorter, 6 race calendar combined with some of the most epic circuits optimised to try to provide the best real weather to go racing this winter! Come along, sign up and discover why FRL really is Sim Racing At It’s Very Best!

Key features

• 2 sprint races (no mandatory stops)
• REVERSE GRID for Race 2 (see below)
• Shortened, exiting 6 race calendar to keep everyone in the hunt for longer
• 3 tiers (PRO, SILVER & AM)
• 1 overall championship (all drivers race each other regardless of tier)
• Broadcast live on YouTube depending on availability.

Schedule: (all times U.K. time)

• Practice: 7:00pm ( 60’ )
• Sprint Qualifying: 8.00pm ( 15’ )
• Sprint Race: 8.20pm ( 20’ )
• Reverse Feature Race: 8:45pm ( 40’ )

As you can see, an exciting reverse grid race 2 to spice things up. Let’s go into more detail:

SpLIT Qualifying

• Each Tier will have 5 minutes to set their qualifying lap (15 minute session)
• This decides the grid for race 1
• AM: will go first 5 minutes
• SILVER: Will go second 5 minutes
• PRO: will go final 5 minutes

REVERSE GRID RACE 2:

• • The reverse Grid will be sorted from Race 1 results.
  • You must complete 2/3 of the laps to be eligible for Reverse Grid.
  • If you havent managed 2/3 you will start from the back.

Stewarding:

All stewarding will be done using FRL’s post race ticketing system via discord, by an experienced team of stewards and stewardesses! 

Liveries:

Custom liveries are allowed. Official liveries are encouraged. You can reserve your unique race number by signing up to our Patreon, for this, and other unique benefits too!

Rookie drivers are encouraged to don an all white livery to help other drivers distinguish them as inexperienced. This is mandatory.
