Description and Instructions

OVERVIEW 

Our sixth season racing Friday nights is here!

To join our events you MUST be a member of our Discord, AND your nickname in our Discord MUST contain your SimGrid profile name. 

Our rules are found in the HFG Discord and on the Rules tab for this event.

SIGN UP PROCESS

Register to enter the series. 

EVENT TIMETABLE 

START TIME: 2000 EDT / 0000 UTC

  1. Practice - 5 Minutes
  2. Qualifying - 10 Minutes
  3. Race - 2x30 minute races or one 60 Minute race - check individual race info!

Drop Rounds

There is one drop round in this series.

PIT STOPS 

30 Minute sprints have no pit requirements. 60 Minute races have different pit requirements for each race. Check the HFG Discord Race Information channel for pit rules.

CUSTOM LIVERIES

The use of custom liveries made outside of the game is permitted in this series. However, the use of these liveries is not officially supported by the game developers. Please be aware that running external custom liveries can induce significant client side lag when another user connects or disconnects.

WITHDRAWALS

If you are signed up but then unavailable to attend, please click 'manage registration' and then click 'leave event' so that others can join the event. If you can’t make a specific race then go to the Races tab and select Admin, then click “Withdraw” to avoid losing championship points.

STEWARDING

This event has post-race stewarding. If you feel someone was deliberately not following the rules, go to the race tab on the SimGrid web site, select the race, then select the admin tab, and click on the incident report button. For rude in-game chat, take a screenshot of the chat and submit it to Jacky Harris or Guidot (Jeff) via PM on Discord.
